"David assured me that you would solve my problem. Not only did he fit me with the proper aid, but he adjusted it and made it comfortable. He is always working with a reassuring manner and a smile."

A Hearing Aid Dispenser You Can Trust

When we recommend a pair of hearing aids for you, we're not trying to sell you the most expensive devices. Instead, we look at the bigger picture of your hearing situation to determine the best fit for you as an individual. We want you to be confident that any recommendation we make is based on what we believe would benefit you most.

The Right Hearing Aid for You

We consider several factors to determine the right-fit hearing aids for you. When you come in for your initial appointment, we'll have a conversation with you so we can better understand your hearing needs and what you want hearing aids to do for you. We try to find the perfect balance of these factors:

  1. Budget. This is the most important consideration for a lot of people. We will do everything we can to find a solution for your hearing loss that works for your budget.
  2. Lifestyle. What's your critical listening situation? Are you around noise a lot of the time, or do you usually stay at home? This will determine what level of technology you need. The more advanced the technology is in the hearing aid means it will be more effective in complicated listening environments.
  3. Hearing loss. Depending on your hearing loss, not every hearing aid will be appropriate for your specific needs. For example, more severe hearing loss may limit what kinds of hearing aids will work best for you.
  4. Personal preference. We keep in mind what you are looking for in hearing aids. We balance what you want with what will work best for your needs.

Advances in Hearing Aid Technology

One of the best features in the hearing aid industry is the constantly advancing technology. We've been in this business since 1985, and we've seen incredible changes that have life changing impacts for our patients. If you haven't seen hearing aids in a few years, you might not recognize them. Some of the most noteworthy changes include:

  • Support for profound hearing loss. We are now able to treat severe hearing loss that previously would have been untreatable. We love being able to make a difference for even more people.
  • Bluetooth connectivity. You can now connect your hearing aids directly to your television or smartphone, so you can hear both without needing to turn the volume up.
  • Rechargeability. Some hearing aids have rechargeable batteries, while other hearing aids are rechargeable devices that can be plugged in overnight.
  • Miniaturization. Modern hearing aids are small and inconspicuous. Some are even designed to be invisible to other people.
  • Reduced feedback. As long as you're wearing your hearing aids properly, they should never give you whistling feedback.

Hearing Aid Styles

Choosing a hearing aid style depends on your hearing loss as well as your personal taste. We will go over these options in more detail so you understand the possibilities and determine which you would like.

Many patients prefer the receiver-in-canal model for comfort and convenience, and we are able to let you try on demo units at your first appointment so you can experience them firsthand. However, some patients are more interested in custom-fit models that go inside your ear. We’ll discuss with you what you’re looking for and work together to determine what’s right for your hearing.
